Boater Safety Class

All boaters born after January 1, 1989 must have a Tennessee Boater Education Card to operate any motorized watercraft. Also, regardless of your age, if you are operating any of the SCFR boats you will need your Boater Education Card. Get your training on March 7th, 6pm - 9pm at Station 1.

Essentials of Firefighting

Training to be held at Station 1. Essentials of Firefighting is part of the 64 hour course but all SCFR members are welcome if you need to refresh your knowledge or skills in certain areas.

Final Test and Drill

Essentials of Firefighting students will take their final test and demonstrate skills to show their proficiency in certain areas.

Station 6 Meeting

All SCFR members are welcome to attend the monthly station 6 meetings located at 402 Thomas Ave, Cumberland City, TN 37050. Meeting will begin at 1830 hrs.

ATV/UTV Class

The class develops safety knowledge and awareness on how to properly operate and maintain an ATV/UTV. Class will be held at station 1.

Engineering Class

The class will cover driver/operator qualifications, the different types of apparatus equipped with a fire pump, the components of apparatus maintenance and inspection, how a fire pump works mechanically, the different types of water supplies and the different aspects of operating with them utilizing different types of water supply during pumping operations. All SCFR members are welcome to attend the monthly station 6 meetings located at 402 Thomas Ave, Cumberland City, TN 37050. Meeting will begin at 1830 hrs.

Vehicle Extrication Class

This course covers the complete cycle of vehicle rescue operations. Topics include utilization of equipment, personal safety, response, assessment hazard control, support operations, access and disentanglement, and special vehicles. Extensive hands-on practical exercises are utilized to allow students to perform in simulated environments. Training to be held at Station 1.
